Logline

A woman suffering from recurring nightmares moves to a house in a small town to get away from the city. But, supernatural forces begin to unravel her psyche, leading to dark visions, and unfathomable revelations.

Roles (Non-Union)

  • Serena — Female, 27–35, any height.

    • Possesses a dark side she doesn’t want to acknowledge.

    • Mentally disturbed but seemingly normal to most people.

    • Intense emotional range; able to carry long, interior scenes.

  • Izzy — Female, 25–31, 5'0"–5'10".

    • Supporting role.

    • Playful, youthful, warm and affectionate but tries not to show it.

    • Serena’s best friend.

  • Dr. Isaacs — Male, 38–44, 5’10"–6’1".

    • Reserved, calm, somewhat eccentric psychiatrist.

    • Occasionally uses unconventional treatment methods.

    • Has a subtle weirdness about him.

  • Harbinger — Male, 25–45, any height.

    • A dark humanoid apparition.

    • Physical performer; prefer experience with stunts or movement work.

    • Requires comfort with eerie, nonverbal presence.

  • Elizabeth — Female, Caucasian/European, 45–56, 5’10"–6’1".

    • Supporting role.

    • Intense, imposing, creepy, reserved.

    • Traditional/disciplined manner with an almost supernatural presence.

Details:

  • Pay/stipend negotiable depending on role and experience.

  • Filming in South Carolina (January, dates TBA).

  • Non-union production.
